Beauty beyond compare: "The wall [of Heaven] was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
"I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's [Jesus Christ's] book of life."3
Jesus himself made many references about heaven. The Apostle Paul and several of Jesus' disciples also wrote about heaven. In fact, in the New Testament section of God's Word, the Bible, there are 237 references relating to Heaven. There are many more in the Old Testament section of the Bible. Rest assured, God himself repeatedly validates Heaven.

I have been over 114 countries, all for the grace of God almighty, I am a missionary by calling and a businessman by profession, and if you would ask me what I love the most,my answer to you is working for God,as I was called and anointed to spread the gospel of Jesus. International missionaries like me and others out there,we have the duty to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to those nations that have never heard of him, this is oftentimes done in the face of great oppositions and tribulations.
No weeping, no hurt or pain, no hiding..........He will be holding us now in the everlasting arms.
ReplyDeleteMy brothers and sisters, if the Lord Alimight says that not one thing is worth holding on to in this life, no gold nor silver nor self, then I believe Him for He cannot lie. Every word speaketh from His mouth is truth.
Food for thought brethren: if a mighty tree can capture the awe of many; if the ocean's fascinating species can draw man to dive to risky depths just to have an upclose view; if the wind blowing under the sunlit evening sky can capture the attention and hearts of so many; if the world is so awesome and filled with soem a variety of elements and existences that leave us speechless at times; and the one true and living God in His very words said that 'no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind can know what God has in store' then I BELIEVE Him.
Imagine the eternal beauty of heaven. If God has blessed us with such beauty on earth, would He not have Heaven made of even MORE beauty? Would it not be increased significantly greater beyond all expectation?
It is where I want to be.
What do you desire for your eternity? Beauty or fire?
Pledge your allegiance to the Lamb.
God He reigns......................His way is BEST!
